Our Current Team

Andrew Mohama
Host and Executive Producer
Medical student at Rush (Class of 2026) with a passion for clinical reasoning, medical humanities, and medical education. Drawn to the intersection of human stories and healthcare, I co-founded Northstar Narratives, a storytelling initiative for the healthcare community. I also help lead Rush’s Restorative Justice Initiative in the curriculum, advocating for community building and conflict resolution. Between M1 and M2, I embarked on a 2,500-mile “bike listening tour,” a research project exploring loneliness and human connection through interviews with people I met along the way from San Francisco to Chicago. I’m excited to keep learning, teaching, and fostering community—on the wards and on the mic. Outside of medicine, you’ll find me cycling, running, collecting vinyl records, playing guitar, and attempting to cook Syrian food as well as my mom does.

Caroline Wang
Host and Executive Producer
Medical student at Rush (Class of 2028) and podcast enthusiast. Outside of school, I love exploring the Chicago food scene and spoiling my two rescue cats, Olive and Willow!

Sam Shih
Host and Executive Producer
Medical Student at Rush (Class of 2026) interested in women’s health, medical humanities, and medical education. Outside of medicine I like to read, do hot yoga, go to live music, and have lingering, long meals with family and friends.

Koushik Kondapi, MD
Host, Producer
Graduate of Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. Internal Medicine resident at Rush. Passionate about medical education, clinical reasoning, and lifelong learning. In my free time, I’m an exhausted but die-hard Detroit sports fan (Lions are going all the way this year, mark my words), and I love going for bike rides around Chicago, exploring new restaurants and traveling.
A&O Alumni

Nick Rigler
Associate Editor
Rush graduate and internal medicine resident at Rush who is interested in cardiology and medical education. Outside of medicine, I love water-skiing, the Lakers, the entire state of Montana, and big-city marathons. Rumor on the street is that something might be wrong with me as I’ve been spotted running on the Lakefront when it’s below zero degrees.

Megan Kotzin
Associate Editor
Rush graduate and internal medicine resident at Colorado that decided to trade Arizona summers for Chicago winters – still deciding which is more tolerable. Passionate about clinical reasoning and hoping to go into internal medicine. In my free time I love to run, hike, read and explore the Chicago food scene!

Nathan Kudlapur

Cherie Lo

Internal Medicine resident at Northwestern and I hail originally from Cleveland, Ohio. My passions include swimming, making boba drinks for my friends, and discovering new allergen friendly baking recipes. Passionate about MedEd! In my past, I have developed virtual reality platforms for teaching undergraduates about organic chemistry, and I am curious about how education will continue to adapt and change with technological innovations. I’m really excited to be a part of the A&O team and to see what we do this year!
